To start this New Year we decided long ago to talk about the awesome artistic talent and skills that come from the East. It is amazing how those artists can express their culture, imagination and dreams in real textures, fantastic shapes and dreamy landscapes, fashion or avatars and typical decoration and architecture. Japan Tempura is a fulfilled dream of kikunosuke Eel, an amazing and very special person and artist from Japan, who also illustrates our special interview of this Issue. This “TP to…” is simply magical and very touching. She certainly deserves our Stamp Award and we applaud the incredible jewelry and fashion she creates. Check out the interview with deliziosa Vendetta, a super Italian artist, who charms us.

It is time to party and celebrate life and love… to make plans and think about the New Year and all great things we can do. It is also time to review our actions in 2009, keeping the good memories in our hearts and forget the silly things. After all we deserve happiness! We are really very happy to give you our 11th Special Issue… December brings this magic aura and the wish to fraternize with friends and family. But, we can celebrate whenever we wish and this month the highlights homage the art and pleasure of celebrating. The special article explores the way different countries enjoy their parties. It is a very rich walk across cultures.

Birth and renewal... Time to recycle ideas and beliefs... To reborn and evolve! And to show how the "transforming fire" metaphor can be explored, nothing is better than giving the highlights to the most impressive and creative event of SL, the Burning Life and its amazing artists.The fascination and talent inspired by the organizers and participants of the event made this November issue an act of reflection! Their efforts to take Burning Man (the event of RL) to the Virtual world for so many years, as such intense giant art and free expression exhibition, deserves our applause.

As choosing subjects is always a fascinating task, there is nothing better than talking about who creates and embodies the fantasy of living a Second Life with fantastic avatars! The surprises in this issue start with Don Ahmad Hosho on our cover, who created his portrait especially for our magazine. I have no words to thank you for this kindness and gift, Don. Ahmad Hosho is an unique and special artist, who uses an avatar that is a perfect example of what can be fantastic and artistic in SL. He did an intriguing special interview, which will certainly tease you.
